knock. Send your brief

VPs and Directors do not apply to jobs. They get introduced to headhunters.

Knock. for executives is a private service that maps the top executive headhunters in your sector, drafts you in their voice, and reaches out on your behalf. We do the search-firm research, the executive-summary tailoring, and the warm-intro brokering. You take the call.

$0 while you search. If you have not signed an offer within 90 days, you owe nothing. Otherwise: 10% of first-year base, capped at $30,000.

Founder reads exec briefs personally. No deck, no pitch, no sales-rep handoff. Or if you would rather send a brief in writing first: 6-question intake form (3 minutes).

Recent signed offer
A senior program manager (20+ years, manufacturing + energy sectors) signed at a major European energy operator inside the first six weeks of engagement. Verifiable reference available via intake after mutual NDA.
Current trialists
Two senior operators currently engaged at VP and Senior Director tier. References available — named, by phone, on a mutual NDA call. Same standard our clients hold us to. We do not name current clients on public pages while they search; that posture is the product.
How it works

Three things happen.

01
You send a brief.

Not a list of URLs. A description of what you are looking for: the role, the geography, the hard nos. We take it from there.

02
We deliver a private briefing.

One page, per client. Six roles, six tailored CVs, six named decision-makers, six ready-to-send messages.

03
You knock.

We file the application; you make the human introduction. Recruiters trust real candidates, not automated outreach, so the LinkedIn message stays in your voice and stays in your hands. We draft it; you send it. Five minutes per role.

What you receive

Every Monday. Until you land.

One private briefing page. One URL. Lives at knock.works/b/your-name. Refreshes weekly. Below is what lands on it, and when.

Day 1
Intake call. We review your brief together and start the work the same hour.
Days 1-5
Job discovery. We search 150+ live postings, score them against your brief and your CV, and shortlist the best six.
Day 2 on
Per-application receipt. Every time we submit on your behalf, you get a short email telling you exactly when, where, and with which version of your CV.
Day 5
Your first briefing lands. Six roles, six tailored CVs, six named recruiters, six drafted opening messages. You read it, download what you need, and start knocking.
Every Monday
Two or three new roles drop into the same briefing page. Tailored CV, cover letter, recruiter LinkedIn, drafted message. The page accumulates; nothing is lost.
Every Wednesday
A six-line digest. What we applied to that week, who is responding, what is outstanding. One email per week, maximum.
Day 7
Check-in. We tell you whether the signal is good (keep going), normal (give it another week), or weak (let's iterate).
Anytime
You reply with a recruiter response, a rejection, a "pause for interviews", or "I got an offer" - and we respond within four hours.
Your part

Three actions a week.

The work on your side is small but specific. We remove the part that takes time; you do the part that requires you.

01
Pick the top two roles each batch.

Not all six. The first two get your attention. Send the connection requests to the named recruiters using the messages we drafted - copy buttons on each one. Five minutes total.

02
Send the DM after they accept.

When a recruiter accepts your connection, send the second message within 24 hours. It is already calibrated to your voice. Small edits fine; full rewrites are not.

03
Forward replies.

When a recruiter responds, forward the thread to us. We draft your follow-up inside four hours. The second message is where most candidates lose the thread; we make sure you do not.

That is the whole job on your side. Two messages to send, one to forward. Maybe 30 minutes a week, spread across days. We do everything else.

Pricing

You pay only when you land.

Executive search firms charge the hiring company 30-33% of your first-year compensation. They work for the employer. We charge 10% of base salary, you, so we work for your interests. Cap is set higher than our Director tier because exec offers run $300-500K base, and the work involves more research per role.

While you search
$0

Headhunter mapping for your sector and geography, executive-summary tailoring per intro, ghostwritten outreach in your voice, calendar coordination, recruiter call prep. All included, all free until you sign an offer.

If you land
10% of base, capped at $30,000

Charged once, only when you sign an offer sourced through Knock. Capped at $30,000 regardless of total package, so a $500K base offer still costs you $30K, not $50K. Invoiced 30 days after your start date.

If you do not land
$0. Guaranteed.

If you have not signed an offer within 90 days of your first briefing, the engagement closes and you owe nothing. This clause exists so you can say yes today, even when your current role makes the search feel uncertain.

What "sourced through Knock" means. A role we put on your briefing page, or a recruiter we introduced you to, that turns into your offer. Roles you found on your own do not count.

Cancel anytime. Single-line reply to your engagement email. Your briefing page stays live for 30 days after, then closes.

Pause for interviews. 30 days at no charge. No notice.

Who

Who this is for, and who it is not.

For

  • VPs, SVPs, Senior Directors, and C-1 operators with P&L ownership, multi-function teams, and a public profile worth protecting.
  • Operators who do not have time to chase headhunters, and who know their next role will not come from a job board.
  • Quiet searches. We never ping your network, never list you on a database, never post on your behalf.

Not for

  • Anyone who wants high-volume job-board applications. That is a different segment of our service.
  • Anyone unwilling to take a 20-minute headhunter call. The whole product depends on you being responsive once we open the door.
  • Anyone wanting a public course or playbook. We do not publish ours.
Who makes it

Operator-led, AI-leveraged. Trialed with two senior operators.

Knock. is a Switzerland-based service for executives in transition. We pair a proprietary AI pipeline - search-firm mapping, executive-summary tailoring, outreach drafting in your voice - with a small operating team that owns the judgment work: which firms cover your sector seriously, what your one-page exec summary should foreground, when to push a recruiter and when to wait. What stays human is the judgment: which firms cover your sector seriously, what your one-page exec summary should foreground, when to push a recruiter and when to wait. The cap is six executive clients at a time. That is what keeps the judgment specific.

Currently trialing with two senior operators at VP and Senior Director tier. References available on request after a first call.

Trust + operations

The fine print, in plain English.

01
Capacity.

We cap at six concurrent clients. Two engagement slots open this quarter. When all six are working, new intake pauses until a placement opens a slot. If you write in while we are full, we tell you the same day and hold your spot.

02
Every brief is read by a human.

The AI pipeline scrapes, scores, and drafts. It never ships. Every shortlist, every CV tailoring choice, every recruiter message gets a human pass before it leaves the building. The 6-client cap exists so that pass is real, not perfunctory.

03
Nothing goes out without your green-light.

Every application has a one-hour HOLD window after we render the PDFs. Every outbound LinkedIn message stays in your voice and your hands. We never name you to a search firm or a hiring manager without your explicit written approval. A standard mutual NDA covers both directions, signed before any client artifact moves.

04
Where your data lives.

All client data sits in a Google Workspace tenant hosted in the EU region (Frankfurt). Only the operating team has access; no contractors, no analytics platforms, no model-training pipelines. Deleted on written request or after 90 days of engagement inactivity. GDPR (EU) and nLPD (Switzerland) compliant.
